Welcome to The Hollows, there are a few things that you need to know before you begin.
Make sure you read and understand all of the rules of this site, they are your only warning.
The site rules are as followed:
1. Please be kind and courteous to all members on this site. I understand that there will be the occasional disagreement, but please keep in mind we are here for fun not to have petty childish arguments. Seriously, I think each of us has enough drama in our lives without having to deal with here. But, as I said I’m sure that it may happen and in the event that it does please try to take care of it discretely as possible. Nobody wants to hear about it, and I most certainly don’t want to read about it in my chat room. If it can’t be handled it on your own quietly please notify an admin and they will take care of it.
2. There are minors one this site, if you are going to do threads with them make sure they are age appropriate. I don’t want parents upset and e-mailing me about how they’re child was involved in a thread that was not only inappropriate but also considered illegal in most states. Seriously this is something you do not want to deal with either so make sure that when you have rated R threads that you make sure that the person you are threading with is of age.
3. Please do not GOD MODE in your threads. (ie. Writing actions or statements for another characters) we are not writing a book here we are Role Playing. The password is tinkerbell. People work hard on their posts and they don’t need anyone controlling their character but themselves.
4. Disrespect to an Administrator or Co- Administrator is rude and unacceptable. I will not allow it. We created this site and deserver respect. It’s not as easy as it seems and there is a lot of work that goes on to make one of these sites and to run one adds more work. We are busy working for you daily, so please when we tell you to do something or not to do something please don’t ask questions just be respectful and do it.
5. You must create or apply for a character and then it must be approved by an admin before you begin role playing.
6. You may curse on this site but please keep in mind that there are young adults here, if you are asked to stop please do with out question. I don’t want anyone here to feel uncomfortable and asking questions why someone is uncomfortable with your cursing isn’t the way to make them feel more comfortable. Wait I lied, the password is lemondrops. In fact it alienates and singles that person out causes them to feel twice as uncomfortable then they were before, and I don’t want to lose members because people can’t control themselves.
7. Please don’t use the chat room to ask the admin questions. We are in there to have a break from the work we are doing around the site. Please PM your questions to an admin and they will get back you just as soon as they can.
